In-Person Tutoring
In-person tutoring is the most effective form of tutoring and my preferred method. Working in-person, I can read a students face and body language to better recognize their level of understanding and easily employ different teaching strategies if I find that one method is not clicking. Additionally, I am able to form a stronger connection with my students and get a better sense of their personalities, their strengths and the areas where they need improvement.
I meet my students at libraries, universities, coffee shops, and their homes. I am located in Brooklyn but will travel to Manahttan as well.
(I am fully Vaccinated against COVID-19)

Online Tutoring
While I have found in-person tutoring to be the most effective way to teach, online tutoring it also effective and can be useful for students who cannot meet in person for geographic or scheduling reasons.
My online tutoring setup utilizes a phone stand and a video call so that my students can hear me and see everything that I am writing. I have found this method to be very effective in teaching physics and useful for students who do not live in New York City or are only available to meet late in the evening.
(Unfortunately, I do not tutor organic chemistry virtually due to the extensive need to work on shared drawings and the need to understand how things rotate in 3-dimensional space.)
